Kahr Arms CW9 Semi Auto Handgun 9mm Luger 3.6" Barrel 7 Roun - Stainless/Silver, 3.5" Barrel, 7 Rounds, Polymer Grips

This has been a great gun. I have owned it now for a couple of years and it has not jammed once, with hundreds of rounds through it. I was using it at the range some at the beginning. Now it's my go to carry. Some people on line have tried to give Kahr a bad name, but I have not had nothing but good success using it. I give it four stars and would have given it 5, but when I received it....the trigger was to heavy, and was pulling a little to the right when shooting. It since has been fixed and at 20 yards is within a couple of inches and at 10-15 yards is dead on. It's a good gun....and I wouldn't be afraid to tell anyone to get one.

I purchased the CW9 after seeing the amazingly affordable price (with 2 magazines) and hearing how well they performed. During the 200 round break-in period, I had multiple failures to fed, double feeds, stovepipes and unintentional magazine disconnects after a couple of rounds. However, the sights were perfectly aligned, trigger pull continued to improve and most of the malfunctions stopped around the 150 round mark.
With standard pressure 9mm ammo, the 7 round magazine performs flawlessly in the CW9 but the 8 round magazine unintentionally disconnects occasionally with standard 9mm and more frequently with 9mm p ammo after a few rounds. Maybe, my thumb is accidently pressing the magazine release or the pinky finger pressure on the magazine base is the culprit. Also, if you carry the 7 or 8 round magazine in a pocket, a round or two may fall out of the magazine even though the magazine spring feels very tight during handloading. I guess a magazine pouch can only fix that problem. I purchased the extended warranty from Buds Guns, because I read similar complaints on the forums BEFORE I purchased the firearm. I stopped carrying the CW9 for those reasons, but I will continue working on trying different hand positioning with the 8 round magazine or eventually send it back to Buds Guns for warranty repair. The problems I am having with the CW9 could be life threatening in an emergency, so I can not recommend this firearm as a reliable CCW.

I have carried several pistols and found this to be the winner for EDC. Shoots great with ball or self-defense ammo and is very easy to carry IWB. Good quality pistol for the price and nice to know it is made in the USA.

I love Kahr..concealability..accurate and clean. 45s ..9s..pm and cw. They all shoot great! This one is a newer model and I was impressed again as well. I recommend Kahr across the board.

I was surprised by this gun I just recently got in to gun I wish would have known more about this gun before I brought my glocks, smith and Wesson and rugers. If I would have been this would have been my only purchase.

Great firearm, I love it. Finish is high quality. Slide rides smooth on rails, no grit. Grip is comfortable. Its the ultimate 7+1 single stack for the price. Trigger is smooth with clean break. Checkering is just right giving solid grip without the skin bite. Sights are standard, work just fine. Feed ramp is highly polished, no issues with magazines or the firearm. Few more hundred rounds just in case and its ready for carry. Its so light and thin its easy to forget its on you. Great job Kahr.

So I bought this Handgun because I wanted a nice weapon that could fire cheap 9mm ammo. What I got was a beautiful weapon thats accurate and is perfectly suited to be a ccw. Buds shipping was great and will definitely be ordering from them again. Something that some people don't realize is that there is only a trigger safety on this weapon, but trust me I honestly felt "safer" with this in my hands than almost anything I own.
