Burris is the ultimate tough scope with excellent quality. You can drop, knock also this scope silly and it will stay on target. Burris is known for making the working man's blue collar scope. I own more than a few and they have never failed me. Especially in the cold wet weather.

I have two. One on a 30-30 for deer hunting in NY timber. The other one is on a canteliver rifled shotgun barrel for hunting in NJ timber where there is no center fire rifle hunting. Both have held their zero and provide a clear view until last legal light. I recommend a Burris 2x7 for hunting in timber.

Nice scope for the money very clear nice fit and finish... Dollar for Dollar you can not beat the quality of a Burris scope period!
