This is a great gun, I am a die-hard 1911 fan and an ex-leo who carried a Glock 22 on duty for several years and I am here to tell you that Springfield did one hell of a job with the XD. I love a Glock but, the XD has way better ergonomics and is deadly accurate. 13 plus one rounds of 45acp with a grip frame that is smaller than a Glock 21, what more could anyone ask for? As for Bud's service, well I wasn't to impressed with my first order last year when I ordered 2 AR-15's and it took about 3 weeks to receive them but, I decided to give Bud's another try and they got this order messed up also, it took 2 weeks but, you just can't beat Bud's price so I ordered an XD Sub-Compact in 9mm from them and had it in less than a week, so I still have to give Bud's a top notch rating, anyone can mess up, we are all only human and they are very nice and great to work with, and they will save you a lot of money, good job Bud's.

I spent a long time trying to decide on which gun i wanted to buy in a .45 ACP. I looked around at a few Glocks, Rugers, and a bunch of others. Finally one day i walked into my local gun shop and went over to where they keep all their 45's and this beautiful stainless Springfield XD just POPPED out of all of them. I saw it and automatically fell in love with it. Then the guy let me hold it and i couldnt put it down it felt so comfortable and just looked sooo good!!! It does have a pretty hefty price tag but the quality of this gun is unmatched!! This gun is absolutely awesome i have probably put 150 rounds or so through it and i have not one complaint about it. This thing hits the target dead nuts on!!! I am looking in to getting the Trijicon Night Sights for it though! This gun is phenominal! Everybody i go shooting with wants to shoot this gun! The trigger is so short and crisp and the recoil for a .45 is very minimal!! Highly recommended!!!!!!! Spring for the extra money to get it in the two tone stainless model it is absolutely beautiful!!!!!!!!!

I bought this gun from a local gun supplier before learning about Buds (Sorry Guys). I was concerned about there recoil as I own a 10mm Glock and 9mm Beretta. After the first 13 rounds I was VERY impressed. This gun has half the recoil of the 10mm and even less then the 9mm Beretta. The Glock 45 ACP compensated still didn't even compare. As for accuracy I can't say enough, Dead on! It's my opinion that Springfield offers the best bang for the buck. I'm currently shopping for a 40 cal. and Springfield is in the top 3. Glock is going to need to get back to the drawing board to design another generation. Thank you for reading and take care.
