I went to range this last weekto try out my .44 mag. It was a great experience in shooting. Smith & Wesson makes a very niceproduct. I would recommend this gun as well as many other Smith & Wesson guns. Buds was very professional with the orde and delivery of my gun. I would recommend Budsfor the purchase of any gun.

I have taken this gun to the range twice so far, and have fired about 150 rounds through it. In short: This gun is awesome.

The look and feel of the gun are very good, and it's bound to get attention wherever you take it. It dwarfs most other pistols, and looks great doing it.

The fit and finish of this gun is excellent and the cylinder lockup is very tight, especially when the hammer is cocked. The sights are solid, and the gun's weight and long sight radius make it inherently stable and easy to aim.

My favorite part: The trigger. While the double-action trigger pull is predictably heavy, it is at least smooth and consistent. The single-action is what truly shines, though. I haven't measured it, but the pull can't be more than 2.5 pounds, and there is no perceptible pre-travel. This is the main reason I chose a Smith & Wesson revolver, as every other one I've handled has the same superb trigger.

In conclusion, I love this gun. I am extremely satisfied with it, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a big .44 to have some fun with.

I love this gun. I have put 50 rounds through it. I have shot it both at the range and out in the woods. It is very accurate, and bad ass

This thing is so much fun to fire and it's balanced so well that you can fire it all day long...if you can afford the ammunition!

This revolver showed up clean and ready for the range...so that's where we went.
It shot slightly left of center mast at 7 yards. I made an adjustment and it creeped over to center mast just like it should have.
She was dialed in with six rounds. I ran another 54 rounds through it just because it was so much fun to fire.
I only shot it in single action, as I prefer to shoot revolvers single action only.
I'm primarily a .45 ACP guy ( I have two G21's, a G30, a G36, a Springfield 1911 and a Para 745) and the recoil was maybe a tad more than firing the G36.
The S&W 629 Classic .44 Mag with the 6.5" barrel is very well made, balanced well ( as evidenced in felt recoil) and an absolute joy to fire. She is also very easy on the eyes.
Service with Buds was the typical mediocre service I've grown accustomed to (I've purchased probably 20 firearms from them, so I DO KNOW).
