Ruger® M77® Hawkeye® bolt-action rifles are designed to be instant classics. Built with versatility, style and performance in mind, these rifles features slim ergonomics, classic checkering of the walnut stock, and the LC6™ trigger. In addition, these bolt-action rifles contain all the value-added characteristics of Ruger rifles: positive floor plate latch, integral scope mounts, three-position safety, hammer-forged barrels. This Compact model is a shortened version of the M77 Hawkeye Standard rifle, with a Black Laminate stock and Hawkeye Matte Stainless finish. It features a 16.5" barrel and short length of pull to create an extremely maneuverable rifle in brush or tight areas.

Love the gun. It's got the matte stainless steel barrel instead of the shiny finish stainless steel. No issues with gun. Took straight out of box and oiled and shot perfect. I got it in 7mm08. Buds shipping was quick and fast. Thanks Buds.

BEAUTIFUL gun!! Great service from Bud's as always. Smooth action and great size for the lady shooter but still feels comfortable and I'm 6'3" and 220lbs! Will leave review on performance after getting the scope mounted and gun fired! Thanks again Bud's.
