Per Ruger "This model is currently in production; production quantities are limited and availability may be limited at retail". I cannot imagine that anything chambered for .22 Hornet is a production priority or a particularly large part of their market share.

Hi Charles and welcome. Unfortunately, when neither Notification nor last listed Price, they don't anticipate getting that firearm back in stock. I have wanted one of these for years. I was not disappointed. I got it in the fall. Mounted a scope, sighted it in and took the dogs for a walk. Kicked up a covey of spruce grouse, and one flew up into a tree and gawked at the collie. I removed the magazine of jacketed soft points and slipped in a 39 grain cast load (.22 lr equivalent, and yes it is legal here). Blooded this beauty the first day out. Looking forward to gophers this spring. Great gun!

Wonderful rifle. The Walnut stock on mine has beautiful figure. Great fit and finish. If I do my part it shoots 1 to 1.5 moa out to 100 yards with Winchester 45 gr softpoint and hollowpoint factory loads, 5 shot groups.
