This is a dandy little trail gun. With 4.0 grains of Unique in .32 H&R handloads it basically makes a ragged hole at 10 yards. I highly recommend.

This single action revolver met and exceeded my expectations. Great workmanship, fit and finish. Very accurate and fun to shoot. This caliber is perfect for a pistol this size and weight. Very handy to use and carry.

Bought this gun in Feb 2017, and have fired 200-250 rounds through it, both commercial and reloads. Not at all pleased with it. I bought it to add a new caliber to my collection, specifically the .327 magnum and .32 H&R mag, for shooting and reloading purposes. I have and regularly shoot a single action Ruger Blackhawk .357 magnum I bought in 1963, and love that gun. When I discovered the Single Seven, I was immediately interested and made the buy. The first day of shooting with .327 commercial rounds resulted in having an empty case stick so firmly in one cylinder chamber that I had to take the cylinder out and tap a piece of wooden doweling into the case to remove it because the ejector rod couldn’t dislodge it. It was also very difficult to eject cases from two other chambers, although I was able to do so with the ejector. I then fired two cylinders loaded with .32 S&W longs without problem. I again fired another cylinder loaded with .327s, with the same problem occurring as previously described. Took the gun home, thoroughly cleaned and lubed it again, and made up some reloads to add to the commercial rounds for the next range trip. The result was the same problem with the same cylinders. I was pretty disgusted given Ruger’s reputation for quality and durability. Research found others encountering the same issue, plus some other issues with the gun. I learned by using only solvent and no lube in the cylinder chambers and fired the .327 cartridges before any of the shorter rounds, the sticking cases might be avoided. That seemed to work during the next range visit, apparently because the shorter rounds had not deposited burned powder in the chambers before the .327s were used. However, I did encounter another problem that I learned of during my earlier research. The base pin popped loose from the base pin latch when firing the .327 rounds, and worked its way forward and out of the cylinder. Obviously, the cylinder eventually stopped turning, which is how I discovered what had happened. I pushed the pin back in, ensured it was locked in place, and fired a few more rounds. The pin again started to work its way out of the base pin latch, so I called it a day. Ruger will be seeing this gun in their facility again.

First of all this was my first time ordering from Bud's. I couldn't be more pleased with their service from the moment I placed my down payment for the 90 day layaway right until they shipped the gun. Fast shipment as well. 2 days as advertised. As for the gun, well, it's a beauty. Very nice looking single action revolver. No problems with it as I checked everything over. Case extractions are very easy. Ruger's single seven is definitely a keeper.

The quality of the revolver is as advertised. I have subsequently fired on the order of 150 rounds of 327 mags( 100 grain bullets)hand loads along with several hundred rounds of 32 S&W wad cutters hand loads. All performed without any extraction or firing issues. My experience is the revolver performance is excellent; the limit is the marksman. 2" -7 shot groups at 25 yards offhand with an optimized hand load is obtainable. As for order fulfillment the gun shipped 7 days after payment and FFL info was supplied. I would have liked it to have shipped in a shorter period of time.

Ruger's Single Seven is the perfect 327, just as it should have been introduced. Normal Ruger quality and the usual good service from Bud's.

Got this revolver last week and have put about 400 rounds of various strength handloads and a couple boxes of AE 100gr JSP through it. This is a very nice looking gun. The wood grips and unfluted cylinder add to its appeal, for me. This configuration is quite handy too--the barrel isn't too long to be obtrusive in a pack or holster, but is sufficient for most applications. The sites were way off out of the box, but the rear sight is easily adjustable. So far, accuracy is nothing to write home about, but I'm still developing 327 Mag loads. My SP101 in the same caliber (4.2in barrel) is more accurate than this gun is, but this may be my bias and comfort with double action pistols. The 327 Federal is an awesome cartridge. It does recoil quite a bit and can be snappy as it pushes a 100gr bullet at 1500 fps, but it isn't uncomfortable to shoot. One of the greatest things about this gun is its versatility. You can shoot 32 ACP, 32 S&W short/long, 32 H&R Mag, and 327 through it. I had some old SWC 32 ACP loads that I wanted to waste and reclaim the brass, and shooting those little rounds through this gun feels like a 22. 32 ACP becomes a pretty good plinking round in this gun. I hope that more people discover and adopt the 327 to some degree, whether for hunting or self defense. I think it could be well used for either. It's a neat cartridge and this gun is a comfortable and unique vehicle for it.

Gun arrived one day sooner than previous order about a month ago. Only 12 days to get the product rather than 13 the previous order. Gun arrived in excellent shape, just as it should and the same excellent condition of any order I have received from Buds. I do think the time to get the product is putting customer service on the low end of the totem pole. My visa account was charged the day order placed. No shortage of working folks in that department. Most anything I buy is over the web and most get me my stuff in half the time. I took the Single Seven to the range and it performed flawlessly. It does take some getting used to ejecting spent cartridges but once that procedure is mastered there are no problems. I don't think gun was bore sighted or any other type of site in done. It shot 6-8 inches low and about 10-12 inches left out of the box. It was very easy to bring into zero. Less than 10 rounds. Once zeroed in the gun was very accurate.at ranges of 30 feet and 60 feet. I shot first 327 magnums(federal 100 grain) and then Magtech 32 S&W Long. Both calibers shot very well with both being on target at the original site in setting. I have some HR32 S&W Magnums and will shoot some of those next time out. I am very satisfide with the gun and its performance. Also very satiside with Buds other than the time to deliver the product. So far I do not think this delay is enough to have me start searching for a new supplier.
