I have been to the range once with my 243 Ruger American so far. I added a scope and bore sighted it at home. It was on the paper at 50 yards, I was able to place the 1st 3 shots almost touching each other. I fired a total of 40 roads of the same type with the same results when I did my part. The cartridges were handloads with 85 grain bullets that weren't tweaked for the gun yet. i did find that the chamber on the rifle was very tight compared to other 243's I've owned. Reloading dies had to be set for maximum resizing. The weapon seems to function very well and has acceptable fit and finish. I look forward to playing with it more.
