I bought this gun because I wanted to get a real nice higher end .22 for general purpose shooting and because I could. The handling, weight and ergonomics of this gun are spectacular. Metal hooded front sight and an adjustable rear sight. The stock is gorgeous and overall it is a beautiful gun to look at and it is very accurate. Fit and finish are near perfect. The action is smooth, sweet shooting and I'm sure it will give me a lifetime of pleasure. I have only 2 problems with the gun, one of them is just a sign of the times.

1. I would expect plastic in many places on a $100-$275. gun, not on a gun that costs around $500. (Shipping/background/Gun). The forward stock shroud is screwed to the end of the barrel and ends the Mannlicher stock is a simple fragile piece of plastic.
2. Any gun that cost this much should come with rings (or is it just me?)

I actually give it a 4.5 out of 5....
