recently bought the Savage 111 TH XP in 7mm Remington Mag and i really like it! The gun has a great finish and have been great to shoot. After a few rounds i had the glass decently zero'd (now it's just user error if the groups are bigger than 2" moa) and have had great luck out to 200 yards. I am still quite a novice, but I think it will be ready for 500 yards plus this fall. The Recoil is a little harsh, but that mostly fall on the rounds I have been feeding it. The recoil pad is a little firm but after slipping on a Limbsaver, it was much easier on the shoulder! I would recommend this for any novice hunters looking to get a great gun and develop their skill for long range and/or big game!
