Not what I had hoped for from a Savage! All seemed fine until I began to fire it for a break in. I found the head space was set too short. It was building excessive pressure with every brand of factory ammo I tried and even blowing the primers out of some of them. I finally found the bullet was touching the lands when chambered. I will be on the phone to Savage in the morning to see what they say. I bought this gun for a special hunt in 3 weeks. It's in Savages customer service's hands now...
My other Savages have all been great guns! 22-250 and 7MM Mag
