Nice pistol. Feels good in my hands.

Picked this out after considerable research, so I cant say the trigger pull was surprising. It is as heavy as noted in other reviews here and on the net. It is also hittchy and gritty. There are no timing or indexing issues. I had purchased a Wolff spring kit for the gun, but the hammer spring barely dents 22LR brass, and the trigger return springs had too much meat on them to allow the action to fully cycle. To be fair to Wolff, they say "Not for use on Taurus 94". I include this just to save the next guy $10. It wont work. I will likely shoot the rig single action. For $100 more a Taurus 990 can be had. This set up compares favorably to Ruger SP101 and Smith K frame 22s that I also have, and is a lot less money to get out the door. I would recommend the 990 ahead of the 94.

This thing's been a nightmare. The horrendously hard trigger pull and the gun just flat out jamming every few rounds got me to remove the side plate. The interior finishing is poor. I actually found a coil of metal shaving floating around in the trigger assembly. Lots of sharp edges. A pin stuck out too far out of the hammer assembly and was actually gouging a curved channel out of the interior of the side plate. Fixing these problems made little difference. You also need a hammer to get the empty shells out of the cylinder every single time even when the shells cooled down. Even the rounds that fired were innacurateas all get out. My Buckmark runs circles around this. This is the worst gun I ever bought, new or used. Taurus did a GREAT job on my .41 Mag. Tracker but this little gem here must not be related in anyway.

Nice looking revolver. Not as accurate as my Buckmark but that could be because the trigger pull is pretty hard. Tempts me to shoot it single action. I'll have to have the trigger pull lightened if it doesn't break in well enough. I only have put a few rounds through it so far.
