This is my first purchase with Buds and also it is my first handgun ever purchased. After deciding what I wanted to get it came down to finding the best deal for me. Checked several local dealers and no one could match the value I received from buying through Buds.

It has a nice balance which to me makes it easier for a first time owner to get used to. Shoots an accurate pattern and with each use it becomes more comfortable. I would and have recommended Buds to my friends for the great value and speed of delivery and I would recommend this gun to someone looking to get started with their shooting hobby.

Great price on an excellent gun. Buds was easy to deal with. Took a little longer to get it then I expected but it was over a holiday weekend so that was the reason. Still I got to me in the 3-7 day range they say it will take. Thanks buds, and I will definitely use again!

This is my first handgun purchase and the experience in dealing with the folks at Buds is nothing short of a delight. The price was excellent, it delivered quickly and was exactly as described. I will be making all of my future gun purchases through them.

As for the Taurus, this is an amazing firearm. I had rented it a while back at my local range and had an "Ah-Ha!" moment. It just fit perfectly in my hand. It shot tight groups at 20yds and had very low recoil. I was very impressed.

After that, I sought reassurance from the internet. I did not really get it. There are almost an equal number of Taurus "Haters" as there are Taurus "Fans" In my homework of Taurus, it seemed they had a little bit of quality control issues back in the 70's and 80's but since Bob Morrison took the helm they have dramatically turned things around. They are just well made guns at lower prices, period.

I am not trying to sway you from your favorite gun. People have there favorites, just like in the car world. - "I think Chevy's Suck!" or "Ford is a piece of junk!" and "Chevy is the greatest truck on the planet" or "I'll only by Ford Pickup's!" The reality is they are all true statements to whomever is making them. Both company's make excellent products that work well and serve their owners purposes reliably, it really comes down to personal choice.

The same applies to firearms. Taurus, in my opinion, makes excellent guns at really good prices. If you are in the market for a solidly built pistol that is reliable, shoots well and is comfortable in the hand than this is the gun for you. I personally would stake my life on this pistol. The price isn't a half bad motivator as well.

Happy Shooting

Lets cut to the chase: this gun has greatly impressed me from a value standpoint. The build quality is nice, the out of the box shooting is accurate, felt recoil is great, balance is great, reliability is good. I misfed one in the first 100 rounds, but I am sure I was holding it like a sissy when it happened. I firmed up the grip and it never happened again. Breakdown is easy, cleaning is easy. Safety features are many in number, and work well. Ergonomics are VERY nice. Nothing feels nicer than a well balanced 5+ inch barrel, and this one has it. All of this coupled with the price? No brainer. Two thumbs up!

This is now one of my favorite guns. I have no problem recommending this gun. I prefer this gun so much over my other 9mm (a Ruger SR-9) that I actually sold the Ruger. And I'm not one to sell my guns. The weighting of the gun, heavier toward the barrel, allows me to shoot more accurately - faster. This gun could not reasonably be used as a concealed carry. After getting through some Wolf ammo I had lying around (don't get me started on that one), I have had no FTF/FTE. In hand, this gun feels very much like a Glock G34 or especially a CZ75 SP-01 Phantom. Then add the additional safety features and adjustable sights.
