Taurus 992 .22 LR .22 MAG COMBO 4 BluedUE BluedEM

This is an excellent buy!,, the blemishes are discoloration of the hammer and trigger,not at all objectionable to my eye. Contrary to Taurus reviews that I have read I did not find trigger pull to be an issue. I have only put a couple dozen lr thru it no problems at all.at this point am considering Taurus for my next firearm.

There were no pics on this - but it is the model 992 - with changeable cylinders for 22LR and 22MAG. The units are "blemished" - with a re-manufactured serial number (x at end). For my specific 992, there do not seem to be any blemishes on the frame or cylinders, but heavy heat/stress blemishes on the hammer and trigger. For the price, this is not an issue for me. So far I have put about ~250 rounds through her. The cylinders change easily, and both seem to rotate cleanly and lock in tightly. DA pull is VERY hard, but SA pull is light, crisp, and predictable. Sights are standard. Rubber grip is ok. My only complaint so far is that for some ammo, the extraction of the cases gets tight and sticks. I am hoping with some heavy brush cleaning of the cylinders and more use, this will get resolved. I still give this revolver a 5 because of it's value for the reduced price. This is a fun plinker for me and my kids. Buds was great as always.
