Just got my PX4 Storm and love it. Great constant action pistol , came in great shape and everything described it came with. Definetly going to be using Buds for as long as I have the right.

Great gun. I love it. I have had it for about 6 months, and in that time it has become my favorite 9mm. The trigger pull is longer than my M&P, but it is smoother, and I find that I actually prefer it. I don't carry, but if I did, I wouldn't have any worries at all about carrying this thing hot. Despite the lack of an external safety, the long pull makes it practically impossible to fire by accident. One thing I think should be clarified: this gun is not truly double action like advertised. When the hammer is at rest, pulling the trigger does nothing. You can't draw the hammer back with your thumb; you have to rack the slide to place the hammer in firing position. So in this respect, I would call the gun single action only. I discovered while asking around that most dealers are only familiar with the Type-F. If you mention that you want a PX4 Type-C, they think you mean a compact. I assume this is the reason for the "constant action" label. Ammo-wise, I have fired everything I could get my hands on. It has had only 2 FTF, both with steel-cased Wolf ammo (2 out of 500 rounds). I attribute the failures to the magazines. The mags are smooth steel, and the slight gritty texture of the steel cases seems to get hung up inside. You can feel it when you load them. They seem to grab onto the sides and don't spring up like they should. I tried steel-cased Tulammo as well with the same gritty feel, but they all shot just fine (200 rounds). The brass casings have not had any issues at all. This wrinkle does not bother me. I shoot the steel cased stuff for target practice because it is cheap. Most people would not use it for personal defense. I haven't given up on using steel cases. I want to see if the problem fixes itself after enough rounds. I would like this gun to shoot everything I put into it. Overall, I really like the gun. I plan on buying the 40 cal version as soon as I have enough money.

Awesome full size handgun. Once again, between pricing and shipping time and actual getting more bang for my buck Bud's has delivered again. The px4 storm is a very nice choice for the range or duty weapon. I just put over 300 rounds through on first time at the range and no FTE or FTF or any smokers. All in all a very nice handgun.

Excellent perfromance. Took me about 10 rounds to feel comfortable with the trigger but after that flawless.

I bought this Beretta PX4 STORM Type F pistol last year from Bud's and recently traded it back for a Tikka T3 tactical rifle. This was the second pistol I owned. The first pistol I purchased was Beretta PX4 storm Type F from local gun store. The reason I wanted this type C pistol was I wished to have constant trigger pull and I wasn't a big fan of the safety/decocker on Type F because it was a little bit hard to reach. This Type C does require more effort to practice. I didn't find anyone who could do a trigger job on this pistol. I believe with lighter trigger pull I might have shot this pistol better. I had no problem hitting the bad guy figure paper target with this Type C at 15 yards, I just couldn't get the tight grouping as I did with the Type F DA/SA trigger. The transactions with Bud's were great. I will buy from Bud's again soon. This time I would either go with PX4 Storm 45 acp Special Duty or Sig P226 Tac.

The purchase: It took around 7 days to get the gun which is not bad but not excellent either, however everything went smooth and all I can say is that I will buy my next gun from buds. The Beretta PX4 9mm 17 rounds Constant: Well this is my first handgun ever, the quality is fantastic Beretta is TOP NOTCH, I fired some glocks, some taurus, rugers etc and the feel of the Beretta is like having a high end gun, feels great. Now, the CONSTANT model is something I wouldn't recomend to someone who never had a handgun before or has litle experience. Trigger pull is kinda hard because that is the only safety on the gun. I shot 300 rounds of federal on my first visit to the range with the PX4 and I had no problems with it AT ALL, it is a fantastic gun and it performs awesome. The only litle bad thing about it is the trigger pull being so hard and long, it can mess with your accuracity really bad. 100% recomended, nice looking gun, really good quality for the money.

Had this pistol for a little over a month now and have put 500 rounds through it flawlessly. This is my first pistol and I'm very pleased with its simplicity and functionality. Ergonomics are fantastic, it started out a little too large in the grip, but the included grip adjustments fixed that and now it fits perfectly in hand. Size and weight are pretty good, not top notch though because the width is a bit on the wide side, so it's not likely to be my carry and conceal. Trigger is a bit spongy at first and took some getting use to because it is DAO, but after the first couple hundred rounds I was shooting 4 inch groups at 25 yards and I'm a beginner pistol shooter. Few quality issues though that knocked this down from a 5 to 4 rating. First I noticed that the finish on the composite frame could have been better, there were a few sharp edges and burs. The front tapering of the slide is a bit off center and not fully symmetric and though the difference is small, it is noticeable upon visual inspection. Not a huge deal, but I guess I'm OCD that way. Also one final thing are the sights, they were not installed quite center and I noticed all my shot and other friends who have more shooting experience than I were shooting to the left. So to get it fixed I will have to go to a smith or purchase a sight pusher, a hassle and cost either way. So just a few issues to consider and I believe Beretta should do better with the overall quality to make this into a 5 out of 5 pistol. To end this on a good note however, the PX4 is solid reliable and I have no hesitation to count my life on it. I start shooting using relatively quality ammo (Winchester) but that got expensive, so I took a chance and tried the cheap Russian stuff (Tul ammo) which was a bit dirtier and used steel casings, but no problem at all, chewed right through that stuff. 300 rounds of the cheap stuff later and not a single hiccup, so it was definitely a good buy.
