I purchased the Compact version over the full size of the subcompact because of how they fit my hand. The interchangeable backstraps in a nice feature by Beretta. I put the small backstrap on in place of the medium one. The rotating barrel makes the recoil a lot less than my Beretta 92FS. Enjoying firing the Storm at the range. The manual describing the removal of the slide could use some clarification. I watched Dan Cook, Beretta USA, on Youtube to see how you remove the slide. The pin that must be pulled down is tough to do for me. Maybe as I use the gun it will become easier. Bud Guns is my supplier of Beretta guns.

Beautiful gun. Very little recoil and very accurate! Had zero issues with Buds. Gun was exactly as described, shipped immediately and was delivered in two days. Will definitely do business with Buds again!

Shipped promptly, rec'd as ordered! A few initial misfeeds due to tight ejector pin, but after firing a few rounds, operated great. Good experience with Bud's & love the gun.

VIP service is outstanding. It was in Shipping within hours of the order being placed. Cleaned, lubed and we took it to the range today. 100% flawless operation with Blazer 115 grain and Federal 147 grain FMJ Flat Point. Together we put 200 rounds thru it. After some considerable research I settled on the PX4 Compact for my wife. She had difficulty racking the slide on Glock's and her 92G. I replaced the Med grip insert with the included small insert and it fit her perfectly. She is able to maintain the correct grip throughout the course of fire. Prior to our range session I had racked the slide 700 cycles to loosen up the recoil spring. Even with her small hands she was able to rack and lock the slide, manipulate the decocker/safety, mag and slide release. Recoil, even with the 147 grain was very manageable for her. She was thrilled and I'm very proud of her. This is a very well made and designed pistol. Adaptable for almost any sized hand and 100% reliable. Easy to maintain. Cannot ask for more that that.

Got my Beretta PX4 Compact 9mm. Took it apart to clean excess oil before going to the range. In the process of dismantling the PX4, a tiny C-clam on the rod holding the two recoil springs came flying in the corner of my room. The recoil springs came off the rod. Found the C-clamp & reinstalled the coil springs. Took the PX4 to the range, shot 200 rounds (Winchester 115gr), PX4 failed to reload (jammed) once. Second trip to the range, shot 200 rounds, PX4 failed to reload three times. Decided to call Beretta customer service, rep told me to shoot 50 rounds of 147gr 9mm. Went to the range, shot 50 rounds of 147gr & 200 rounds of 115gr to follow. Gun shoot smooth without jamming. No problem so far. Beretta Customer Service is Great.
