This is just a beautiful 1911. Much lighter than my other 3-inch 1911s. I shot around 200 rounds with different brand of ammunition and there was absolutely no issues. For those who would like to carry 1911s but afraid of their wight or reliability, I have to say this is your perfect match.

This is my third Cold Defender. I keep coming back to them as the choice for CCW. Very reliable and very concealable. Normal (full size) magazines can be used with the Defender in a pinch. 45ACP is the only way to go for CCW and self-defense. I like the army green Talo specialization ... although the "green" is more of a tan. I would also prefer the standard thick grips over the thin grips that come standard with this model. Just a personal preference that fits my hand much better.
