Cool gun.. carry this everyday shoots great. Mags are a bit expensive. But I also found a completed 9mm slide and it fot this frame. Now I have an option of edc a 9mm or .380

Great mid size 380 if you don't want a micro gun

Have owned mine for several years now. Was looking for a .380 with longer barrel and this was the best fit. Functions flawlessly. Easy to rack, light crisp trigger, easy tear down. Good sights. For a polymer frame handgun it still has some heft to it, which I prefer. Fit and finish as goid as anything out there for off the shelf new firearms. I like Bersa products, have never been let down. This pistol also has a keyed lockout feature that I do like. Bersa magazines are made well and function excellent.

I bought my Bersa BP380 back in March and have run ten - twelve magazines through it, including some Tula steel ammo, and have not had one FTF or FTE. It shoots straight and accurately and is one of my favorite conceal/carry handguns. My wife likes it, too. Once you know what you're doing, It disassembles easily for me and exactly the same way as my BP9mm. As far as budget guns go, its finish is a little rough, but I still recommend it for its dependability.

I purchased this gun as a tool in which to teach handgun basics to a few friends who wanted to learn. When I received it, I wiped it down, oiled it up with some Hoppes, then a few days later broke it in with 400 rounds of Sellier and Bellot .380 ammo. I actually had more issues with dud primers than with the gun itself. Due the fact the BP380CC has such a short reset, when I did get a dud primer I was able to reset with the slide and then on the second hit the primer went off, this happened about 6-7 times. Now, late me restate this, THIS WAS AN AMMO PROBLEM, not light strikes from the firing pin. I am very happy with the overall performance of the gun, accurate, trigger is very crisp and the short rest is amazing for a $300 gun. I highly recommend this gun, its hard to beat what you get for the price. Another feature I wanted was a full size grip, that's hard to find in .380. This makes the pistol very easy to shoot. I would think, for those that might ask, it might print a little on a Concealed carry, but its very thin and light.

Poor instructions for disassembly as I cant re-assemble. I believe I broke something after watching video.

Due to serious physical problems I am having to use lower caliber guns and ordered this Bersa because of the full hand grip size, slightly longer barrel length than my smaller guns and because it is a heavier weight than the other .380's I own - hoping it would be noticeably lower recoil. This is a new gun, purchased from Bud's, arrived yesterday Oct 14 2016. Taking the slide off is very tricky. I knew that beforehand. This Bersa came with two metal magazines. They looked “mottled” and the amount of rust which came off of them with the alcohol cleaning was appalling. I use Frog Lube paste CLP on almost all of my guns. I do not know what the insides of those magazines look like but probably should take them apart and do the insides. I heated them and slathered them with super thick Frog Lube. A little rust came off of one with the Frog Lube, even after the alcohol cleaning. They are not smoothy/shiny finish. The one is still very mottled looking. The barrel is dark black, matte, messy looking. Not a lot of dirt came off of it. I was hoping it would shine up with the heavy coating of Frog Lube which I put on the HOT barrel and let sit for almost 10 minutes. It is still very dull looking, with some of the finish already worn off of the contact surface. The inside of the barrel does not look clean even though I cleaned it with alcohol, then Frog Lube and a nylon brush and ran patches through till no dirt came off. Next time I will use a metal brush and Hoppe's bore cleaner and hope it will shine. The feed ramp edges look jaggedy. Same for the slide, showing metal wear already, out of the box. Incredible amount of black filth came off with the alcohol. The plastic receiver is in very good condition and very clean. Most reviews say it is almost impossible to get 8 rounds in the magazines when new. Using an UpLula loader all 8 rounds went in with no problem. The trigger is not "scary light" as most reviewers say. I do not have a trigger gauge, but I class it as medium strength pull. The trigger is gritty. Very gritty, and a bit jerky. When you shoot it, your shooting finger gets "bit" by the ridges on the top flat surface of the trigger. My husband also commented on this. I had to wear gloves in order to keep shooting it. First range trip I put almost 150 rounds through it and the few feeding/ejection problems were almost all attributable to "operator error", as my grip loosened as I became tired. It fed Remington, S&B and Privi Partisan with no problem. I did not try SD hollow points in it this first range trip so do not know how they will do. This is an OK gun, not a great gun. I like the size and the weight is fine for me. Eventually, if I can get 300 rounds through without feeding problems, it will be an alternate carry gun for me. In the meantime it will see plenty of range use.

I had purchased this a while back and than locked it up and forgot about it. I finally took it to the range for a shoot with my daughter. Overall the pistol shot well. It was comfortable in the hand, nice site picture and was pretty accurate for the first time at the range. I will say the trigger is pretty light for a DA. My daughter thought the BP was easier to shoot than her Bersa Thunder 380 but did not like the light trigger without any external safety. I have shot handguns for decades so had less issues with the trigger that she had. If I had any issue with the pistol its the stiff magazines. It takes a bit of effort to load all eight rounds. Hoping that will improve as the magazines wear in. This was my first purchase from Bud's. It was smooth and quick. Will buy from Bud's again.
