Carey, this is actually just a "Really Nice" shoot-able pistol. It is not a "Limited Edition" by any means which will not give it the same collectible value as a true limited production pistol. That being said, I have also been in the same boat on other firearms and simply purchased two, one to shoot and one to be a "Safe Queen". Had to hide the 2nd gun from the Misses but, Hey... what can I say.

Hi Billy, Buds does not currently offer a "Price Match" for this particular pistol. However, it can't hurt to contact Buds Customer Service at 859-368-0371 to ask any way since the prices are close.

Unfortunately this is not a price match item. If it were, it would have a blue "price match request" button under the price.

No can do on this one. But if you make the payment in cash, echeck, money order, or check, thee you're not far off. And Buds ships firearms free to the lower 48 states. So you're not far off from where you want to be now. And that gun is a family heirloom by the look of it. I wouldn't let $54 stop me on this one.

Sig Sauer's 1911 Engraved Texas edition features scrolled engraving on a polished blued slide with silver accents and custom wood grips emblazened with the Texas star. The top of the slide has an engraved map of Texas, with the phrase "LONE STAR STATE" on one side, and "Texas has yet to learn submission to any oppression. -Sam Houston" on the other side. A beautiful full size 1911, this Engraved Texas model features a natural finish stainless steel beavertail framewith black controls, a two hole trigger, and night sights.

I am very pleased with the Sig 1911 Texas Silver edition that I purchased from Buds. A very beautiful and well crafted handgun for the money. My only complaint is the amount of turn around time once payment has been received. They received a guaranteed electronic payment from my bank on a Tuesday and the gun didn't ship until the following Tuesday. My local FFL then received it on Thursday of that week. Seems like a tad much to me. Other than that I'm very happy with my purchase. I would buy from Bud's again but just don't be in a hurry.

Get this gun when you can and buy it from Buds . Best looking gun in my collection out of 41 . Top quality and shoots like a Sig. Use Buds and it will complete your a perfect buy .
