Great gun in 40. Bought a 9mm barrel and magazines to cut down on the cost of shooting. Both shoot better then I can a 15 yards making nice holes. Never had a problem with it.

Just recently purchased a S&W 40 cal. from Buds, this is the second firearm I've bought from them. Have also bought ammunition on several occasions along with a couple of magazines and have had nothing but good experiences with every purchase. Most accurate best shooting performance center M&P you can buy.

I think I must have gotten a lemon with this one, sent back to S&W for repair which they fixed, however the gun simply never shot, I tried everything I knew, but finally sold the gun... I am an M&P enthusiast, but this one was a very bad one for me.

Amazing pistol and amazing value. I own and appreciate the reasons and use cases for all the main variants of full-size M&P pistols, and the flagship does not disappoint. Fit and finish are as close to art as you are likely to find in a striker-fired pistol, which is the standard I expect from the Performance Center, which has to make perfect guns more perfect. This is the first pistol to make me imagine not owning hammer fired DA/SA and SA only pistols. Not going to actually happen of course, since variety is the spice of life after all :). But it is just a perfect pistol that erases distinctions with the ability to do everything. Find the right adjustment of grip and trigger stop and you will have a silky smooth and fairly short pull ending at a beuatiful breakpoint. And that's on the first box of ammo, factory hinged trigger and no further modifications than come out of the box. It will only get better with time practice finding the right accessories etc. I noticed right away that it does not have nearly as tactile and audible reset as a Pro-Series or a standard model with Apex RAM. Then I realized the reset is so short there is no question of whether is reset or not. If your finger lifts at all, it's reset. Between that and the porting you have the ability to fire slowly with precision or empty the mag very fast while maintaining control of the pistol and decent accuracy (with proper practice etc. this is the top M&P not the beginner). After 30 years S&W keeps astnishing me and this is everything I could hope for (out of the box at least) for striker-fired. It's not striker-fired really, it's just a pure pistol and pure joy.

Never had a problem with the gun, did try a red dot on it. however I went with too small of a dot. Ended up selling the red dot and later sold the gun.. I already have other s&w M&ps so I really didn't need it, just wanted to try the red dot ..

just received my M&P pro a few days ago, this is a really nice gun. Never used one from S&W performance center before this a definite step up from my M&P 40. Buds was great to deal with.The whole selection and buying process went very smoothly. I know that I will be buying from Buds again
