This photos of this pistol do not do it justice, it looks really nice. I have fired 200 rounds of various 9mm ammo with no problems so far. I am totally impressed with the accuracy and quality. The one exception is the mainspring housing is plastic. Really Kimber?!? I replaced the plastic with a brushed stainless steel chain link mainspring housing/magwell. Now it's my new Texas BBQ pistol. Yes, we have bbq's in Texas and people wear their finest pistols to the event. It's a Texas Tradition. 4 stars instead of 5 due to the plastic housing.
