This is my second SR22. This is a fun gun to shoot and easy to clean and maintain. Believe this and other reviews when they say this shoots just about any type of round, not just high velocity. Ruger got it right with this one. I checked a bunch of local gun shops and other websites, good luck trying to find model 3627 other than here. Apparently this model is a limited run, so if you like the looks of the gun better order it soon before it’s out of stock. I highly recommend this gun for any level of firearms owner.

Great service from Bud’s as always. Now for the pistol review. If you don’t own one of these, buy one today!!! If you don’t have the money. Put one on layaway. It is absolutely the best small 22 money can buy. When I qualified to be certified as an NRA Basic Pistol Instructor, we had to shoot 16/20 shots in a 6” group at 45 feet. I borrowed my uncle’s Target 22/45 for the class and he told me then that his SR22 would shoot almost as good. I passed him off and shot a 3” group with the 22/45. When I got home, I ordered a SR22 for my “class gun”. Durned if he wasn’t right. This little sucker will shoot. In my last class, I had a 76 year old lady shoot a 3” group from 7 yards. Now you may thumb your nose at the 7 yard distance, but she had never fired a handgun in her life. Now I am buying a SR22 for everybody in my family, and one more for me.

Absolutely loved it. Great little gun. Perfect for spending lots of time training at the range. I've put 470 rounds through it so far and no problems. Ruger makes good stuff.

Very nice .22. Trigger is not as smooth as I expected, but had no hiccups with 100 rounds. Bud's was excellent as always!

All my shooting buddies are jealous. This is a really cool model of the SR22 family with its cerokote finished frame and black slide topped off with a fiber-optic front sight. As far as shooting it, its a tack driver and I put 300 rounds through it on its first time out. I put every type of ammo in my inventory including CCI Stingers and other hyper-velocity types; through my cheapest bulk .22 and even junky novelty tracers that had given me lots of hangups in my other guns. The hammer and firing pin seem to hit the cartridge pretty hard. The gun handled everything with no hiccups except a few second strikes which is all on the ammo. I hope Ruger come out with a .22WMR version! I purchased this gun because its manual of arms is almost exactly like any other DA/SA pistol so it's perfect for training youngsters or newbies

Terrific, high-quality pistol. Very enjoyable to shoot and easy to clean. One complaint regarding cosmetics: the finish on the slide around the front sight and on the front serrations was marred with some substance that won't come off.

This is an excellent SR22. This is my second SR22. The fiber optic FS makes a huge difference, and the tungsten cerakote is an excellent touch. Buds was as awesome as ever with updates and fast service.
