CVA Scout V2 44 Remington Mag Pistol - Stainless/Silver, 14" Barrel, 1 Round, Polymer Grips

Got my first deer with it . It dropped like a rock and did not even blink an eye after that. And I was so sick that day so i took this lighter gun. I had just had 32 radiation treatments. It is so maneuverable in the honeysuckle scrub lands. Solid built like a tank it is. Buds was great.

Bud’s was great to deal with as usual.. this pistol is a blast to shoot with magnums and smooth as silk shooting 44.specials, the gun is more accurate than me! The only other thing I have to mention is I looked and researched all over , even asked on buds if it came threaded or not. Every single answer said no it did not!! I got it in my hands and I can tell you it does indeed have a threaded barrel which made my day!!!

a verry accurate pistol the only thing i dont like is the safty that the new ones have and i wish that they would make a takedown model like the rifle.

I have purchased no less than 3 CVA Optima Pistols from Buds Guns. ( 6.5 Creedmore, 243 Winchester and a 44 Magnum) It all started with a 50 cal muzzleloader CVA Optima Pistol. This are the finest single shot pistols ever. I have worked with other single shot pistols in the past. The Bergara barrels are outstanding. I topped them with quality scopes. The triggers are the best in the market. I have taken many a deer with the 50 cal pistol. The CVA 50 shoots one ragged hole groups at fifty yard. I feel that using the other pistols is cheating as they group just as well at 100 yards. I never cared for the 6.5 Creedmore in a rifle. In a pistol it is just about perfect for hunting. I highly recommend these pistols. I give them 5 stars for sure.

Have a 44 mag rifle ,love it. The 44 mag pistol is no different except for a shorter barrel.

I absolutely love this thing, threaded barrel nice finish. VERY Accurate, mine liked the 180 grains more than the heavier 240grs but it was factory and I was shooting at a full 100 yards. Expect it to be great with reloads. I also tried this with .44 special and my obsidian .45 suppressor and was impressive with how quiet it was. Good weight to it and amazing MOA or less accuracy!

After purchasing the CVA Scout pistol, I immediately purchased a Burris 2x scope, and weaver medium Grand Slam picatinny rings, and mounted the scope on the factory rail without lapping the rings. Went to the range, thinking I would have to sight the gun in. NOPE! Dead-on bullseye, with one ragged hole at 25 yards! No sight adjustments needed; absolutely incredible! I was shooting full power 240gr SWC “Keith” handloads. Because the pistol is heavy, recoil was like shooting a 44 Special. Trigger is AWESOME; about 2lbs with no creep. By the way, visit Shamrock Holsters online. They make good quality leather shoulder holsters for this exact gun; fit like a glove, with or without a scope, and very comfortable. JUST BUY THIS PISTOL; you won’t regret it.

Great pistol I have always had good luck with their muzzle loaders and I don’t expect this to be any different.
