The Valkyrie is a variation on the CCO (commander-length slide on an officer frame) This gun features all the latest upgrades to the CCO platform including our ECO frame with a recessed slide stop hole paired with ball cuts on the slide’s dust cover and carry cuts up front. Along with slim G10 grips, it utilizes the same sights and controls of the Dan Wesson ECO with the barrel and bushing of the Dan Wesson CCO.

Thank you buds for this great Dan Wesson and got it for great price too. This is my 6 DW 1911 from 45 govt size to commander and cco 9mm. This cco Valkyrie 9mm is fantastic EDC the fit and finished from DW as always are wonderful. Most soft shooting 1911 9mm more than my 2 full size Valor.(blue and stainless) which I ordered from buds. Thank you again Buds.

I own 1911s from RIA, Colt, Springfield Armory, Kimber and now Dan Wesson. The DW oozes quality. The fit is very tight. In fact, in it's brand new state, it was fairly hard to reassemble after field stripping as the tolerances are extremely close. The finish is awesome and said to be durable yet it can be harmed by some cleaners/oils, so follow DWs recommendation and get some FP-10 to keep it lubed. If looks alone aren't enough to make you want one, then shooting it will do the trick. It is light weight, but in 9mm it is very controllable and accuracy at 7 and 10 yards is great. I can't think of anything negative to say about this DW and recommend it highly. And again, Bud's price on these cannot be beat.

The Dan Wesson Valkyrie is a beautiful firearm. It is the most accurate handgun I have ever fired. The parts are built with such high standards only seen on firearms double the price. If you want one of the greatest 1911’s for under $2k this is the one. I carry the Valkyrie everyday and I trust it with my life. I am dead accurate with this firearm far more then any other I own. I have shot over 500 rounds without a single issue. I can’t wait to continue to use it. Once I got the firearm I cleaned and lubed it and it runs flawlessly. I would recommend cleaning and living after each range trip to ensure it is always at its best. I love this firearm and it has quickly become near and dear to my heart. This purchase was my first Dan Wesson, and the first CCO sized handgun. I'm proud to say that both experiences far exceeded my expectations. The quality, fit, finish and function of the Valkyrie CCO are far beyond any production handgun I've encountered at its reduced price. In the first two weeks of ownership, I've fired 400 rounds of 124 grain FMJ ammo without a single failure. This Valkyrie CCO is proving itself to be a joy to shoot and an exceptional buy.

I own multiple 1911’s and this is by far my favorite. I have close to 2,000 rounds without a failure. Fit and finish are superb. Bought this for my EDC and it is perfect. Highly recommend.

This is my first CCO and second Dan Wession. The Valkyrie in 9mm, was perfect out of the box. After a quick cleaning and lube, the first range visit was a very enjoyable success. Sights were spot on and the gun felt like a full size model. Very little recoil and the combination of the officers frame and commander slide points very naturally. I would recommend to a friend or buy it again. Bill

Another great offering from Dan Wesson, thumb safety was a bit stiff, but otherwise beautifully fit and finished and accurate as could be. My first experience with an officer's frame and I love it.

This transactions with Buds was quick and easy like the others I have had. The Dan Wesson Valkyrie is a superb 1911 Auto. In a class of its own when compared to other factory production pistols. The Wilsons, Browns and others are great customs but you are paying a lot of money for little improvement over the DW. Than with Buds $700. off of retail on this model it may be the buy of the year.
