Anthony, yes Sir it is. Just remember that (Modified Choke) is the most restriction recommended to use Steel Shot over the size of #2 Steel Shot as Steel does not compress like Lead Shot and will quickly damage Full Choked barrel ends. Cheers and stay safe!

Perfect fit for my 870 Express! The original barrel had problems with extraction even after warranty work. This barrel gave 100% performance and is 30" long for a cool look. It handles better than the shorter barrels too!

I bought this for my Remington 870 Marine Magnum so I don't have to buy another shotgun for trap or skeet shooting. What a great buy! Comes with a Modified Choke and unlike some forums or reviews I read online, this actually comes with a bead. The barrel fits like a glove and now I just have to get it Nickel plated to match the rest of my shotgun!

I purchased this 30" barrel for a Special Purpose 870 that I have had for a long time. The shotgun came with a 26" barrel that worked fine. A while back I added a Jack West stock and forearm. I started shooting sporting clays along with trap and thought a 30" barrel may help? I was hoping the 30" Express barrel was the same as used on Remington's new 870 Express trap. It is not. It came with a flush Mod choke tube. I did add a mid bead sight and installed extended choke tubes. The Express finish matches the Special Purpose receiver perfectly.
Very pleased with Bud's price and customer service. The 15 day delay due to COVID-19 was expected and was not an issue. Now I just need to improve my shooting skills..

I bought this for my "new" 1952 Wingmaster that I want to shoot trap with. Our trap club is steel only. (National Forest) The 1952 barrel is a fixed FULL. Now I can switch chokes with the new barrel and not worry about damaging my old barrel. I have shot about 200 rounds, with no problems. Balance is great. It is shooting as nicely as a fancy expensive gun now! I highly recommend it for practical reasons. The 30" is really nice to look down also.
