I enjoy the fact that this is a 24" barrel. Smooth as silk to cycle and it's just a fun rifle to shoot squirrels or just go out and "plink" with. Nice octagon barrel. It's just a tad front heavy but it's not that bad. It just gives you that "frontier" feeling when you hold it in your hands.

An amazing rifle. The only thing I became disappointed about was that the lever itself started to develop a few rust spots over a couple of months. I tend to take really good care of my firearms, yet will admit that this rifle was purchased for plinking & left out in the open to see how she'd hold up. A little bit of oil, a brush, & a buff, & rust hasn't been back yet. Either way, a must have for any shooting enthusiasts. This gun will last beyond a lifetime. A joy to shoot every time!

Nice rifle for the money! I had to send back to Henry. It was shooting way high at 50 yds and could not be adjusted down. Henry customer service is great! They returned rifle quickly and is now spot on. Thanks Bud's!

Bought this rifle for youth to learn on. Good, rugged, everyday usable rifle. Novice shooters can be hard on a firearm, price is right for what you get, if they scratch the stock I am not going to throw a fit unlike using an heirloom firearm. Bud's makes the buying experience easy and fast as usual.

Smooth action, accurate, and great looking rifle. It's what you get with a Henry. Just as accurate as my Marlin 39A. Buds did a great job with fast delivery to my FFL.

A fine rifle. A good buy. It is quality, as I expected from Henry. The price for an octagon barreled rifle with this pedigree is exceptional. Lightweight and quick cycling, and the sights provide a good picture downrange. I am happy with my purchase and recommend this rifle without any qualms.
