Outstanding gun. Smooth action crisp adjustable trigger. Everything is stout with no flex. I've shot out to 300 so far and it's sub moa. Break does what it's meant to do and makes the 338 feel like a 308. Great but at the price point.

This is a very well built Savage target rifle that I am very pleased with! Buds was great to work with. I ordered online and I got to my local FFL sooner than stated. Next time I purchase I will definitely keep Buds Gun Shop in mind. Thanks!

Excellent rifle. Great trigger. Low recoil for big boy cartridge. Shoots 300 grain handloads at 1/2 MOA at 600 yards. Zero complaints.

I've been thinking about a 338 for some time and I decided to pull the trigger on this. and I must say I'm very happy I did. its very accurate, and fun to shoot. it was a lot of heft to it and that helps in recoil. all in all I say if you are looking into a long distance system that will not kill the wallet. this is a fantastic choice.

Great value in this item. With 1.5 lb. Accutrigger and muzzle brake installed, it's a 1 MOA rifle or better in my first 12 rounds of barrel break-in (10 handloaded 300gr. Lapua Scenar bullets, Prvi cases; 2 factory Berger match rounds), and I don't have a front bag that fits the fore-end yet. I expect it to shoot .40-.75 MOA once I have the rest figured out and tuned a handload. Great-looking stock, heavy carbon steel barrel. A great deal to get into .338 LM without spending for a Barrett or TRG-42. The $1,300.00 Savage Tactical .338 LM in the MDT stock is already on my list for next year. I'm not sure the cash discount was worth the 5-day processing delay, but the price was great. Kudos to Bud's for having this item in a tight market, and Savage for match-rifle accuracy at a bargain price.

This is my 18th purchase from Buds' and I have NEVER been disappointed with their services. Now as far as the Savage 112 .338 Lapua...WOW! So many times I have purchased a new firearm with the highest expectations only the be somewhat let down with with quality or performance or both. This Savage dose NOT fall into the aforementioned catagory. This rifle absolutely knockes it out of the park! The fit and finish is exceptional, and even more important the accuracy is outstanding! I couldn't be more pleased. I'm consistently shooting .5 MOA with multiple loads and bullet weights. If you want to get into a .338 Lapua without spending thousands of dollars, this is the only way to go!

I really enjoy shooting this rifle! It is very accurate, heavy enough that recoil isn't a deal-breaker, and a BEAUTIFUL piece! Great deal at Bud's too!
