The CZ 557 Sporter is the newest line of centerfire offering from CZ USA. The 557 marks the first departure from the Mauser style bolt which has been found on CZ 550 models. The 557 Sporter has a short extractor and plunger style ejector for smooth operation and enhanced ejection. The new receiver is machined from steel billet and uses CZ's 19mm dovetails for mounting scopes.
