The CZ USA 557 Sporter Synthetic Bolt Action rifle is an all purpose rifle designed for hunters and sport shooting enthusiast alike. The CZ 557 Sporter Synthetic is built on a Mauser style bolt commonly found on CZ 550's. Specifically the 557 features a short extractor and plunger style ejector for smooth operation and enhanced ejection. The short extractor/push feed system also makes it much easier to single load the rifle which many shooters seem to prefer. The new production receiver is machined from steel billet and features CZ's integral 19mm dovetails for mounting a scope. If that wasn't enough the 557 comes with a fully adjustable trigger allowing you to tune weight, creep and over-travel to your specifications.

Best deer rifle I've ever owned. Rifle is light weight and very accurate. The synthetic stock is very ergonomic and weather resistant. Unlike other thick stocks, the trigger finger stock grip is thin, which feels great in my hand. All CZ have hammer forged barrels, which makes for the best most accurate manufacturing process. The trigger group is very smooth and high quality. I lightened the trigger pull slightly. I installed a rubber sling on my rifle. Also installed a 10x42 fixed optic (sniper scope). On my first deer hunt with the rifle, took out the heart at over 100 yards. My cousin said he had never seen a cleaner kill in all his 40+ years of deer hunting. Proud moment for me. All the hunters were admiring my rifle. When I lightened the trigger pull after the kill, all the hunters were asking, why was I changing perfection. I like a lighter trigger pull, and only changed it slightly. If you are looking for a high quality deer rifle value for the money, sincerely it does not get any better than a CZ-USA CZ557 SPORTER 3006 Synthetic - it's deer rifle perfection!!!
