John, this gun should come in a padded black plastic hard case. It uses a fairly standard gas system with ports under the barrel actuating pistons to drive the cycling of the gun.

I found this Mossberg semi auto to be excellent! I had no issues with loading or ejection of shells. I was surprised it operated as good as it did and I would recommend it. My Beretta A400 had more of a problem with jamming then with this Mossberg shot gun.Its a lot of gun for the money.

Well made, reasonably priced 28 gauge semi-auto. It is lightweight, balances and points well; stock shim pack is included. It is packed very well.....in a gun sleeve and a plastic case. The one I received had no defects; plain Turkish walnut, decent bluing. I contacted Mossberg and was told it takes Huglu pattern chokes, which are available from a couple sources. It only has a front bead, no center bead. I am going to replace the front sight and install a center bead. Bud's delivery was great and there was no problem with the order.

Very good gun great for rabbit hunting! Trigger is a little heavy but mcarbo makes a great trigger kit for it. Overall just a great auto 28 guage!
