MOSSBERG FLEX 500 SECURITY 20 GAUGE - 18.5" Barrel, 5+1 Rounds, 3" Chamber

This 20 gauge is a great scattergun and can be easily managed and equally effective when used in the home for home protection by men, women, or older kids... Lightweight, holds plenty ammo, and with the recommended home load of 3" #5 Buck, is perfect!! All around great piece!!

I purchased the pistol grip version simply because most of the other models were out in 20 gauge. I later purchased the tactical stock and the standard. I bought the gun for home defense. I have been shooting the heck out of it with all configuration of stocks. and have to say the gun is terrific. So much less recoil than my 12 gauges. Here is what is really interesting. I see internet talk all the time that the Pistol grip is not good for accurate shooting. BS, I found that I can come to target very quickly and hit center mass. I train often with pistols, "Point and shoot" style method which helped. . I was not sure about the pistol grip but so glad I got it. It is easy to maneuver, light weight and fast! Recoil is very mild with this shotgun and more than just home defense, it makes a very fun gun to shoot. Seriously, I love shooting this weapon Recoil is so light, you can shoot it all day. I really enjoy the ability to take all three stocks to the range and rotate them out.. Bud's did a great job of getting this to me during the Christmas rush when they were so busy and it arrived right before Christmas. Always good service. cons: I think the Tactical stock could use a cheek rise later. It was low for me. i hope Mossberg comes out with a pistol grip like the after market cut down version. It would make the gun smoother.
