Nickel plated aluminum alloy receiver. Ported vent rib barrel with Perma Cote Gray finish. Chrome plated chamber and bore. Gas-operated with Active Valve System and ambidextrous safety. Picked up from the FFL dealer and headed out to the Sporting clays coarse after a quick clean (shipping oil) I put 200 rounds without a single cycling issue. I did have some magazine loading issues that seemed to go away as the morning went on, it wasn't until I got home and I was cleaning it that I noticed that the oversized Briley red operating handle was not supplied and it had the standard operating handle, this is the first time I have received an item from Buds that wasn't as advertised. as far as the SX3 it points well I'm very happy with the Carbon Fiber texture, it will be nice in the heat of summer with sweaty hands and face. I don't expect to have issues my 20 gauge SX3 and my Maxus have seen cases and cases of ammo with out issue.
