This is my first spotting scope. It is just what I needed for range shooting,except has a few minor drawbacks. Although well made and sturdy, the tripod is too tall, Simmons should make it squatter. Scope itself is terrific. Sure saves on the time and footsteps. I think every shooter should have one. In this case the price is right.
