Great gun and optics for the money.

Overall this is a great entry level rifle. The Weaver Kaspa scope is not bad at all. It does come mounted and bore sighted. I did remove the scope to check for proper fit. The rings seem to be machined well and they secure the scope nicely. I did use medium strength threadlocker to reassemble everything. I was able to get on paper at 100 yards. I made few adjustments to the windage and elevation and I was shooting 1 inch groups all day long. The bolt is nicely machined and has a smooth travel. The plastic stock however does feel cheap and is not a rigid as i would like it to be. The accutrigger is amazing and makes up for a lot of this rifle's shortcomings. The barrel is free floated and made of quality stainless steel. The savage axis 2 xp represents an amazing value and you really cant beat it for out of the box accuracy. As a basic hunting rifle it will get the job done.

Buds always great but I really like this 270 Savage axis 2 it shoots great it's really front heavy because of the light stock added a shell holder helps even it out super accurate even for me I shake terrible so I now it's accurate when I'm putting under 1 1/2 in group at 100 yard with federal power shocks love this gun
