I bought this rifle 7-20-18 savage a17xp put 80 rounds through it which nine of them hung up.I asked for a refund and got denied.

I read all the reviews online about the A17 and had to have one. I have to tell you, I am in love with this gun. It is hard to beat the 10/22 for rapid auto fire but the 17HMR is a straight shooting fun stick. My 10/22 is going to the gun safe and will be retired. Buds Guns service during the delivery process was stellar as usually. Would recommend the A17 and Buds to all.

The A17XP, is exactly what I was looking for. Well balanced and light to handle, After shooting several full clips, no hiccups what so ever, very accurate. Well satisfied.

Interesting gun! Put several hundred rounds through it the first day.The rifle functioned flawlessly. Sighting it in was problematic as EVERY screw on the rings and bases was finger tight at best - some less so. I believed the factory advertising about the scope being mounted and bore sighted (my bad). Was wondering why I was having issuing sighting it in (duh). This thing is touted as a tack driver. After removing and reinstalling the scope and bases correctly, things got a little better. It would hold about a 1" , three shot group at 100 yds.. The group would start to open up a little as the barrel heated up if more than 4-5 rounds were fired in rapid succession. I fully expect things to get better after some cleaning and "breaking in". Yes, I would but another one - especially from Bud's.
