Made in the USA, the Magpul ACS (Adaptable Carbine/Storage) Mil-Spec Model is a drop-in replacement buttstock for AR15/M4 carbines using mil-spec sized receiver extension tubes. Dual, rear accessible, water-resistant battery storage tubes and an integral storage compartment in the butt of the stock provides multiple storage options. The ACS comes standard with a 0.30" thick rubber butt-pad which provides positive shoulder purchase to prevent slippage even with body armor or modular gear.

I haven't had a chance to test it out yet but it seems to be the quality one should expect from Magpul. They make quality products at affordable prices. I may buy one again in the future depending on how I like it, it has two tubular compartments, a small storage compartment on the right hand side, and a quick disconnect attachment. It has a great price too.

It's a very solid and well constructed product. It's what you'd expect from magpul. A heads up on the install use a screwdriver instead of the plastic bullet provided.

The fit is great on my S&W, MP10 (Mil-spec tube). My only gripe is the small door does rattle a little. After putting a bore snake and optics cleaner in there the rattle stopped. Thinking about getting another for the AR15.

The ACS stock is a great choice. Although it is slightly heavier than other stocks, it has many benefits. It has the storage compartment which can be used for storing hex wrenches and other items that you may need to tighten scopes, mounts, sights, etc. as well as the two tubes for battery storage. Also, the large cheek weld is comfortable and keeps you accurately on your scope or sights. The locking mechanism which secures the stock in its position is also a big plus completely eliminating any stock movement on the buffer tube. In my opinion a excellent stock.
