Squat and sturdy like it's namesake dog, the NAA Pug is chambered in 22 Magnum, sports a 1" ported barrel and is just 2.75" tall. This stocky companion will deliver a bite even worse than his bark from the 5-shot cylinder. A slightly over-sized pebble-textured rubber grip enables the handler to keep a firm "leash" on this pocket-size puppy. Using the half-way notch cylinder, the hammer may rest safely and securely away from live or empty chambers without chance of accidental discharge. This model comes with a Tritium sight.

Great little pocket revolver to get the mail, walk the dog, or at the gym. Hides any where and mor controllable than the standard 22 mag. version with wood grips.

Great quality! Size does matter. This makes a great backup, I suggest the ankle holster Bud's sells. I love this gun.

First, thanks for the great service.
I love this little gun. I was surprised by how well-made, sturdy, and easy to fire.
Perfect for my bra holster, I can forget it is there.
I bought a second one.

Excellent fit and finish. Flawless function for the first 200 hundred rounds, still flawless. Fits in my basketball shorts for an easy concealed weapon. Great little gun

If you want the smallest, lightest, highest quality EDC revolver that you can basically take anywhere and forget you're even wearing it, this is the gun for you.
It has a couple quirks due to the small size, but if you don't like having a G19 on your hip all the time, you can stay armed everyday and not even notice you've got it on.
If you've already got an EDC you love like the P365 but you deal with things like snakes on a regular basis, this would be the perfect pocket sized varmint blaster for a ranch in addition to your main carry imo.
Honestly I think this is the gun everyone who gets a CHL should be given as their first carry gun.
If you like small EDC guns as well as revolvers, you're gonna love this gun so much it'll become a part of you.
If not, check out some of NAA's other offerings like the sidewinder or black widow.

Awesome little pocket/ankle gun or to carry for snakes. A slightly larger grip makes it easier to grip safely and comfortably than some of NAA's other products. The heavy ported barrel gives it that extra "cool" factor, can't tell much if any performance gain, but it's neat. Very loud, nice fireball of a muzzle flash out of a small package. The XS night sights are much more user friendly for target acquisition than the standard blade sight. All in all a sweet little shooter. As always Buds was great to deal with, 10/10 would buy again.

Had some range time with this pistol, with the only complaint that shoots very high. The pistol itself is very high quality and comfortable. I would recommend to anyone looking for a little pocket carry.

While I'm forced to give this a mediocre rating, most of me really wants to love this gun. When I picked up the gun, the rear sight was out of line and a small metal shaving was stuck near the hammer (from the sight installation). The gunsmith at the range aligned the sight and removing the shaving in about 2 minutes free of charge. Day 1 at the range I got 33 rounds on target before the pin that holds the rod in place broke. A replacement assembly was overnighted to me under warranty. A week later (today, as I write this) I took it back to the range and had a much more successful time, with one exception: The white dot insert that holds the tritium in place on the front sight post came out. Rather than send me a new front sight, I was advised to send the gun in and have it replaced by the manufacturer. I feel like I just happened to get the dud of the bunch... Don't get me wrong. the gun is REALLY fun. I replaced the factory grips (which are awesome by the way) with a laserlyte grip instead. The sight picture on micro revolvers is just too small for quick target acquisition. I cut some baseball bat grip replacements to fit the new grip, because it is just flat plastic with no grip to it. The added padding the bat grip has over typical grip tape makes the revolver shoot like a feather. The gun doesn't like more than 50 rounds at a time before it starts to bind up a little. Being all stainless steel, when it starts to get hot it expands. It's not designed to be an all-day plinker. That being said, 75 rounds down range with the new rod at 5 yards (dont expect much more range than this from a 1 inch barrel), and I was 68/75 in X/10/9/8 circles of a person target. The performance of the gun makes me very happy, but due to issues out of the box, I feel obligated to leave the review neutral. If I were to ignore those things and base it solely on proper function, it's easily a 4-4.5*s.

A:George, No the grip on the PUG is part of the frame. Don't know how one could easily put on folding grip without cutting PUG up.See 2 more answers |
