This is truly a piece of art, blended with workmanship... Smith & Wesson knows how to build excellent firearms such as the 1911s and this is by far my favorite for defense and target practice. Although this particular handgun slides pretty rough manually, definitely worth the money as far as you have firm hands;)

Nice looking gun. I selected it over all other 1911's in its price range. I have ran over 500 rounds through it, with no problems. Shot good right out of the box.

I finally got this after using buds layaway program, my 3rd purchase from buds, paid off Wednesday, received following Monday, and as always Buds rocks! Onto the gun, it has a decent trigger, not match but not bad either, slide to frame fit is VERY tight. Even tighter than my Kimber, and it looks great, although the picture provided shows it as more of a polished stainless, and this is NOT correct, It is more of a matte greyish finish. As for me, iv painted the front site red and am content with it myself, just wanted to warn buyers that plan on switching out the sights. You cant. Also the front sight is kinda large and tall it seems for a sight, and would work well in a kydex holster but so far has snagged on leather holsters, making the draw slow and catching. That's never happened on any other 1911 iv owned but these are target sights, sharp and black. For the range, its perfect, and well worth the money!

Inspected the gun upon delivery to my local San Diego, CA FFL and noted no Barrel Bushing Removal Tool in the container? Aside from that, everything functioned properly, and looked great. Thank you for your great service, and fair pricing.

Wow Im really impressed. I bought this gun for bullseye shooting thinking id prolly need alot of work done. I was wrong, it shot great right out of the box, I pick it up took the first shot and dead center bullseye. after a little breaking in about 150 rounds iv beat my preivous scores that i get with my 22. Im very happy

Great gun. Shot one that looked just this one but was out of S&W custom shop. Glad I did not buy the expensive one. My stock gun has a great trigger and is a good shooter and doesn't need any work. It's all the gun I need.

Great pistol. It is well balanced and shoots remarkable. They done a good job on radusing all shape corners and is a brezze to disasemble and clean. Well worth the money.
