This is the second PX9105LLP, and the forth purchase I have made from Buds...This is by far the best 1911 Springfield makes in the Loaded series. I have owned and shot all of them. This is the Legendary Long Beach Operator, it became so popular when Springfield would release it as a limited edition once a year that they started manufacturing it full time as the Loaded Operator. I know someone below said this ins't the LB Op but I own a LB Op and it looks no different, and this gun and the Long Beach Op have the exact same model number....go figure. Bud's shipped the gun out next day. 2nd Day shipping as usual and Bud's again remains the fastest in the industry. The gun arrived in immaculate condition, as expected. I can't wait to shoot this one, I have no doubt it will shoot flawlessly. Thanks Buds for another awesome transaction!

4 stars because I was under the impression that this was the rare and legendary Long Beach Operator. Alas, it's now shown on Springfield Armory's website as the Loaded Operator Black. It seems to be essentially the same as the Marine Corps Operator with a black frame, a magwell, a smooth front strap, and different grips. It's a VERY nice gun, but I'm not sure it's $500 better than my plain ole parkerized Loaded. I've only put a couple hundred rounds through it, though, so I probably shouldn't judge it until it's well broken in.

The fit and finish on this 1911 is extremely nice, there is absolutely no play in the slide at all, i have over 500 rounds through it so far and not one problem. my new favorite 1911!!!

First off, I can't believe I'm the first to review this amazing 1911 from Springfield...This was my second purchase from Bud's and my 6th 1911. Bud's as always was quick with their next day shipping, the gun arrived within 48hrs of shipping at my FFL in perfect condition. This is my 3rd Springfield Loaded 1911. I was debating on purchasing the MC Operator as I wanted a 1911 with a rail. When I saw the Long Beach Police Operator I couldn't pass it up, it has everything I was looking for in a Tactical 1911 - all black finish, match grade barrel and trigger, night sights, and a rail. This 1911 is beautiful and the slide to frame fit is super tight! This gun is identical to the SA MC Operator except it has a magwell, G10 Grips, and the entire gun is finished in Springfield's propriety Black Armory Kote finish. You won't find any info at Springfield's site about the Long Beach Police Operator but searching around the web you will see that it is a limited run that is released once a year when Springfield has excess Black National Match serial# frames. I wanted a Railed 1911 but I really wanted one that has a government contract as a service pistol (hence the reason I was looking at the MC Operator first), the Long Beach Police Operator is the exact same pistol carried by the Long Beach, California Police Department SWAT Team. You can't go wrong with a Springfield 1911, especially a service pistol. Springfield has more 1911's carried by Military, Law Enforcement and other various Government Agencies than anyother manufacturer. There's a reason the Marine's (MEUSOC/MARSOC). the FBI, and many Police Departments have trusted Springfield's 1911's for the last 30 years! Did I mention this 1911 is beautiful??
