The XD®4″ Full Size pistol from Springfield Armory® sets the standard for polymer pistols. I own the Springfield XD 9 and it's a superior firearm. I wanted something in the larger °40 caliber so it only made sense to get the XD 40. It's similarly the same firearm but for bore and capacity and negligible loaded weight. Can I choose which I like the best? No, it's a draw. Next up will be the XD 45, a world of choices out there. I'm sure I made the right ones. Buds deal are sweet and I can still support my local gunship by having the transfers done there. Thanks Buds.

ordered mine came in it was the right gun. but wrong magazines! 16 rounders instead of 12 so had to buy 2 more magazines! clowns for that lol

The XD-40 is by far the best handgun I ever owned. Super accurate right out of box and most reliable gun I've used. I've had this gun for 4 years now and it hasn't let me down once, well over 1000 rds through it without a failure, jam nada. This is my every day carry. Buds Gun Shop was amazing as always with great customer service and flawless delivery. Do not hesitate to add this weapon to your collection. You will not regret it.

I wanted a 9mm service pistol, but I looked during the time Bud's didn't have them. I decided to try Springfield. They have a good reputation. Fell in love with this 40. I usually carry a Girsan 45, heavy weapon, the 40 service is a dead on gun. The accuracy is great, 20 yards, 5" circle, handles well, carry well with a DeSantis 88. Can hardly tell it's there. Low recoil, quick shooting, and not very hard to clean. Would recommend this nice pistol to anyone.

I had never bought a gun online and was very weary with my first online purchase but with personal recomendations and after reading tons of good reviews i decided to purchase this Springfield. Buds was extremely fast. After receiving the email saying the item has been shipped i had the gun in my hand by the second day. Start to finish buying this gun online through buds was a great decision and I will definitely buy from them again. As for the gun I've put about 100 rounds down range so far and I love it. Very accurate and feels good. I like the safety features and it seems like a very reliable gun that will last. 5/5
