Great pistol. Very accurate and the recoil isn't bad at all. I highly recommend purchasing the Sig Sauer P229 in 40 S&W.

Purchased my first Sig from Buds a reconditioned P229 40 sw at a great price,after about a year decided on a new one with Sig night sights once again as always Buds was the best deal and once again Sig proved to be a high quality weapon.After installing the Sig SET upgrade kit I find the trigger to be as comparable to any of my M.R.D.E 1911s ,also all purchased from Buds.Great gun from great dealer.

I had owned a P229 in .40 caliber about 10 years ago and I enjoyed shooting it very much but I wound up selling it. When I decided to buy another gun, I decided that I would buy the same one I had owned previously because of how well the gun performed and how easy the maintenance is. With all this social distancing going on, I have yet had a chance to shoot it but I'm fairly certain that it will perform flawlessly. I do like the fact that I can order a 9mm barrel from Sig and change the gun to a 9mm which I suspect I will do down the road.

This is a Sig p229. read the specification on the Sig webpage and believe every word - I love this gun! Bud's service and price were exemplary. Shipping was fast, communications during transfer were quick and accurate, and the gun arrived at my FFL as described. I have read many of the negative feedback comments regarding Bud's, and perhaps those guys have a beef, but if my expereince is any guide, I think these guys are the real deal. I will be sending my gun business to them again, with pleasure (assuming the present US government does not achieve its goal of repealling the 2nd amendment!). Thanks
