Little too soon I'd be on the hands. I had to dimple the handle in order for a better grip when shooting period has a little bit of a spank to the palm of your hand when you shoot it period other than that great weapon

Ive had or have lots of hangduns from glock, springfield, fnh, walther, beretta, sig, etc. This gun is right up there with the best of them. The trigger is a little heavier (maybe around 6.5lbs) than im used to. little longer reset as well. aside from that, this gun is awesome! I would absolutely buy it again. I put 100 rounds through it yesterday with not one issue. accurate gun. this one i will be keeping. I held off on buying one of these for a long time due to the reviews about the trigger. after i bought it, Im mad i didnt get one sooner. its not as bad as they say and dont let it deter you from ordering one.

This is our 3rd purchase from buds and as usual no problems, fast shipping. Shot 150 rounds through the S&W with no problems. The gun is extremely accurate and better than a glock 22 in my opinion. I really like the interchangeable grips and the overall look of the gun. I put Tula, federal and Winchester FMJ ammo through it

Excllent pistol. I really like the trigger, its very crisp. Also very consistent groupings. I did however also purchase the lasermax guide rod which helps with placement of followups. I love how it comes with 3 different sized palmswells if you have multiple shooters they can grip it more comfortably and obtain more confidence in their placement. Field stripping is a piece of cake. Except for installing the lasermax for first time it was a little tight but after breaking in the spring, everything went back together nicely as if it was factory. This was my first firearm purchase and is for home defense/target practice. I've shot other pistols but the M&P is perfect for me. Will probably stick with S&W for the majority of firearms purchases. Great gun! Went to the range with 2 friends; one of them owns a 9mm and the other one owns a .45 made by other manufacturers. After doing a few rounds with mine, they didn't want to let go off this piece!.....neither do I! Totally love it!

Very Happy with this firearm. Ran 210 rounds through it out-of-the-box (combination of ball ammo and hollowpoints) with no FTF, stovepipes, anything. Tight groups, flawless function, and easy controllability. This is my 2nd Smith & Wesson and it WON'T be my last!!! Fantastic customer service from Bud's. I highly recommend this store and I WILL be purchasing more firearms from them in the near future!!

Great gun! Have put over 1000 rounds down range with it and it just keeps getting better and better. I have several other guns that I shoot and none of them can shoot as tight a group as this M&P 40 can. Well worth the money spent, and I opted for the 2 extra clips for free (S&W Special deal) so now I have 4 loaded and ready for the range at all times. This gun is easy to keep clean and it breaks down very easily for cleaning. Absolutely the best deal I have seen on the internet or Locally. Thanks, Buds

Excellent handgun. Came with extra magazines. Holds 15 rounds of 40 S&W. I like it more than my glock 23. Hits point of aim, easy follow up, and very accurate. I bought the 5 round extension for the mags to up them to 20 rounds. Also had custom trigger work done to lighten pull to 2-3 pounds.
