Hornady Precision Hunter 280Rem 150gr ELD-X 20rd box - Brass Casing

Have not run out of older ammo yet.

These bullets shot quite well in my two Remington 700 chambered in 280. I got tired of reloading and having to rework loads whenever I changed canisters of powder. Have not shot any game with them yet.

Excellent ammunition!! Use this cartridge for long range steel targets. The 150 ELDX bucks the wind better than my 6mms and 6.5s. Recoil is mild.

Excellent round with great accuracy!!

Very accurate out of my 280 Remington 22" barrel. However, the velocity was a lot less that advertised at just 2800 fps average over a 8 shot spread. A high of 2826 to a low of 2716 spread was disappointing also. I understand Hornady tested these out of a 24" barrel; but, I didn't expect a 125 fps difference. I'm going to reload my own for more consistency.

i normally hand load but i just got my 280 and had no brass so i ordered these HORNADY ELD-X Precision Hunters. Shot great good grouping my not hand load for this gun will see how they preform come hunting season.
