I just picked up my savage 93R17HMR GLV from my designated CAlifornia FFL dealer. The first thing I noticed was the bull barrel and nice wooden looking stock. The rifle is quality made and I have no doubt it will be3 very accurate as most Savage rifles have proven to be over time.Overall I have very happy with the purchase lid this rifle from Buds and will visit his site in the future when I am in the market for another gun.

While I have purchased only a few firearms from Buds. This particular firearm was received in less than "new" condition. Damage on stock and butt.

As always, dealing with Buds is a awesome experience and I received the gun in a timely manner. As with others, I myself dislike the 10 round magazine. It jams every time or every other time when trying to enter a round into the chamber. I brought another 10 round and the same thing occurs. also tried to bend the metal that holes the mag in as someone suggested and that made no difference. One of the mags spring has become so weak that the ammo just shoots out of the mag after entering the 6th round. This is after only shooting 30 rounds. After putting a cheap Barsko scope on it and sighing it in I'm knocking squirrels out of the trees. Great to have a left handed Savage for such a great price. The guns stock feels good and the trigger is great.

I couldn't be happier. Being Left-Handed finding bolt action rifles has always been a challenge! I was so happy to find the Savage 93R in LH from Bud's!! I didn't care abut the plastic trigger guard or the very substantial wooden stock, I wanted the heart & sandoul of the LH 93R. Topped with a PA 4-14 FFP this thing rocks!
