Very pleased. Tolerances were rather tight as to be expected with a new, well built, semi-auto.....but within 250 rounds it's a real joy. Several friends at the range mentioned that as a semi-custom gun it would require a lot more investment to improve upon the price performance you get with the CZ-DB 1911 A2. Highly recommended! Now if I could just find .45 ACP rounds!

What the GI's wish they had in WW2. Total quality like like the other Dan Wessons I own. Forged slide and frame with no mim components. Fit and finish great, and a good shooter. Simple and basic, with no hammer bite.

These Dan Wesson 1911a2 pistols are very nice. I recently bought one and could not find a flaw on it. The trigger is very clean and breaks light. I have put approximately 250 Rd’s of 185 hp to 230 ball ammo through this pistol without any issues.Sig elite 185 gr and Hornady custom 200gr xtp will shoot extremely tight groups.

I have shot 1000 plus rounds so far and I am impressed. Very accurate out of the box. Quality is outstanding. I like it better than my Colt Gold Cup and Springfield Range Officer. I will be looking to the Valor next. Bud's is great, will not hesitate to purchase from them in the future.

This is the smoothest 1911 that I have ever shot out the box. 100 rds no problems and all within the center mass silver-dollar range. This is a definite must have.

Finally got to shoot this gem, instead of just admiring it. This handgun, exceeds all that I was expecting. I was able to shoot two other Dan Wesson 1911 models at the range. The two gentlemen have owned theirs for over 5years. They had nothing but high praises for DW. They both shot my A2. They didn't know that it was in production. One of the guys thought it was as cool looking as I do, and wanted to know where I bought it. I told them about Buds and how pleased I have been with you guys. He seemed pretty excited when I told him about your layaway program. My guess is you will probably be hearing from him. You will also be hearing from me again soon, I have been eyeballing the Dan 10mm's also taking a hard look at the Sig p220. I also have a great time surfing your site, I always find something that surprises me. (ie) Coonan's 1911 offering. Putting that one on the back burner. AS ALWAYS A PLEASURE DOING BUSINESS WITH BUDS. I have both the Commander and full size D.W. A2 models. I bought the Commander first and was so impressed I got the full size. To say that the A2 is similar to the original Colt 1911 is really not accurate, it somewhat resembles the original slightly in appearance but that is as far as it goes. This thing is Dan Wesson quality all the way through. Fit and finish is very high quality, tight tolerances and the blue finish is outstanding. The white dot novack style sights are very easy to get on target, and when you do it shoots point of aim. the Dan Wesson triggers are some of the best in the industry with no creep and a VERY clean break. I have 11 D.W.'s and they all have the same clean trigger break ranging from 3.5#-4.5#'s. I could go on, but just want to say at this price, which is hundreds below the value of this model and the fact that each model of the A2 is limited to 200 pistols, I can't believe that they are still available. If you have the chance to get one I don't think that you would regret it.
