Very nice competition revolver, this is the early model 627 and is very easy to disassemble and reassemble for cleaning.

Bought several guns from Buds they take care of business. Now for the review. This is a high quality S&W, did now really need a 8 round capacity because I just shoot 25 yard bulls. The trigger is excellent is both double and single action. It is very accurate with both 38 and 357 consistently grouping 2” at 25 yards using two hands. Recoil with 158gr full house 357 is extremely mild do to grip position. Much milder than older models. I have been shooting handguns for 60 years.

After owning this revolver for ten years it still runs smooth. The weight, fit and balance of this gun make the recoil a nice push not a hard slap. good craftsmanship S&W! And good service from Buds.

I love this revolver. Smith ships you nice wood that are on out the box and Hogue finger groove recoil reduction for a second grip option. Action is smooth both double and single. The gold dot front sights fine for target shooting, but if you want to carry I'd go with a tritium set. This is a big revolver for some to carry,but I'm 6'3" 220 pounds so unless it's summer my body conceals this fine. Can't go wrong with Smith PC.

This pistol will make you grin when you fire it. It is beautifully made, a pleasure to shoot and is perfectly balanced. An indication of how much I like this pistol is that I owned one previously, sold it a few years ago and regretted doing so ever since, so I bought another! The weight and balance significantly reduces the amount of felt recoil. Highly recommend.
