I waited a long time to purchase this rifle, wish I would have done it years ago. It shoots great, too bad ammo is so expensive, I'd shoot it more often.

An absolute tack driver. Amazingly accurate rifle. A very heavy rifle but the firepower more than offsets the weight. Never had a failure to feed, eject or any type of malfunction in well over 2,000 rounds of the 7.62 Nato that used to be sold at Walmart at $9.95 per 20 rounds.

What is there to say that had not already been said about Springfield Armory’s time tested M1A?! Absolutely a well made firearm in my opinion. Never had a issue yet with it. I liked the National Match that I later bought a Supermatch. You can’t go wrong, and now Springfield only makes the Standard version, and no National Match or Supermatch!

I absolutely love this rifle, and am glad I spent the extra money to get a NM. With AR-Comp and168s, the groups are tighter than I ever dared hope for. It’s been stone reliable from day one. My only complaint is that Springfield should have done a nicer job finishing the stock. It’s not bad, but for $2k, the extra 5 minutes of prettying it up seems I order. That said, it seems like wood finish is where everyone is cutting corners these days.
Bottom line: one of the best purchases I’ve ever made.

I've wanted one of these for years, had one in the Army in 1967 in RVN. I'm not disappointed with this one, best battle rifle ever in my opinion.

Beautiful rifles, I have waited over 2 years to be able to own one of these beautiful rifles. The wood is gorgeous and action seem smooth. I can't wait to get out to the range and see how great they shoot!

Hard not to say anything positive about a Rifle that has been used for decades. Worth every penny you spend for it. Buds is always the best choice for purchasing a firearm, as I took a month to reasearch where to get it and ultimately saved $2k buying it through Buds instead of going through the local retail shops. I did have to wait almost 2 weeks to get the rifle after it was purchased from BUDS, but that's really not an issue when they're saving me so much money. Buds Team is always very professional and always there if you have questions.
