Commonly known as the ball headed war club, this weapon was used in the early 16th century. The better clubs were carved from a naturally curved hardwood root burl, sapling or branch. The wood of choice was hornbeam (ironwood). In battle, a blow from the ball of the club could break a limb or crush a skull with little effort. The ball was sometimes spiked with antler, bone, knapped stone, or iron. Working with custom bladesmith Rich McDonald, Cold Steel president Lynn Thompson developed this version.

Injection molded black polypropylene construction
Realistic woodgrain finish that can be easily customized
3-1/4" diameter ball with removable blued 1055 carbon steel blunt spike
24" overall
