Good gun! Shoots well! Great plinker and very good construction. I have been shooting for over 40 years, so rubber grips and plastic guns just are wrong for me. I switched out to some old square but wood grips and that was much better. A 22lr doesn't have recoil or weight that would benefit from rubber grips. I am sure this was a cheaper manufacturing decision. That aside i believe it to be the S&W Model 34 equal especially considering price. Not as nice as a S&W model 18, but with the 94 you can just shoot and have fun without worrying about scratching it. The stainless steel is very nice option that I would recommend. Take your wife and kids shooting with this one. D/A a little tight, but single action is very fair and crisp. i recommend this gun for quality function and price!

Best all around kit gun you can find. I live in a snake infested part of FL. This gun has earned it's keep. 5 stars all the way. Bud's got it to my dealer in two days.

I have had this firearm for less than two months now. Less than 400 rounds through it and it is already broken. Something internally is locking it up so the hammer does not draw back in either single or double action. Very disappointed with this revolver. I read the reviews of others and found about 50/50 good and bad so I took a chance. My mistake. I am sending it back to Taurus for repair and will be trading it in as soon as I get it back. Going to look at the S&W 617 because I really wanted a revolver, but am having a hard time justifying the $750+ price tag for a .22 but i guess you get what you pay for. Buds was great as always, best prices and fast shipping.

This is a great pistol and a great buy. I have bought six of them and use them for firearms instruction. The only negative, if there is one, is that straight out-of-the-box they have a relativly heavy trigger pull. I took them to a local gunsmith who replaced the springs in them with a slightly lighter spring. Now they are as smooth as you could ask for. We've fired in excess of 2000 rounds through each of these and had absolutely no problems.

I've generously given this gun 3 stars. I cleaned the gun first and I just put 300+ rounds through it. It is accurate and locks up as tight as any Smith & Wesson. The problem with the gun is that the tolerance of the cylinder - where the bullets go in is too tight to extract the spent cartridges. bullets go in the cylinder easily (will fall out if you tip it back) but, after shooting them, are almost impossible to extract. The extractor rod proved useless. Each shell has to be dug out with a pocket knife or screwdriver and then pulled out with needle nose pliers. You would probably break a cleaning rod, or knock the cylinder off-center trying to push them out with a cleaning rod. I tried cleaning the cylinder repeatedly, oiling the cylinder, anything I could think of. The problem was common to T-bolt, Winchester and CCI ammo. I ended up scratching the finish repeatedly as I struggled to extract the spent cartridges. aaarrrrgggg. Not a happy camper...

This gun is exactly what you want in an inexpensive well made gun, it is a blast to shoot . Well balanced nice finish and of course Bud's awsome price. I have purchasd many guns from here and love eveything about this place. You will love this firearm, accurate as all getout. THANKS Bud's gang.

First of all Bud's is the best no problems what so ever. The Taurus preformed like expected flawless after 200 rounds can't say enough good things about this gun.

I have bought three, one blue and two stainlesss. Great triggers and very accurate. I will shoot fifty rounds to warm up then go to my larger caliber. Then back to the 94 for more trigger practice then back to the larger caliber. These little guns are great to practice your double action work and are cheap to shoot. I can now shoot 38, 357 and print good tight groups due to the extra practice with these guns. They save you money. Great quality guns.

This is a GREAT shooting gun with plenty of stopping power but low recoil. Very accurate right out of the box and sharp looking too.
