CZ 512 American Semi Auto Rifle .22LR - Blue/Black, 20.5" Barrel, 5+1 Rounds, Wood, Turkish Walnut Stock

Very impressed with this rifle. High quality for sure. Was a little concerned about the trigger having read many reviews before purchasing. To my surprise the trigger on my rifle was 3-1/2 pounds with a bit of travel and a perfect break. Very nice. I went with the cz after doing a ton of research looking for the most accurate semi auto .22 that would still be comfortable taking into the woods for hunting. Being a semi I was hoping for good accuracy but not expecting great. Well this gun is a shooter! Tried some different ammo and it loved the .22 semi auto brand. Dime size groups at 50 yards and I put 25 rounds through a nickel size hole at 30 yards at one point! Out shot my friends $800 target build 10/22 all weekend. What a great gun don’t hesitate.

Very nice .22 rifle. Good wood, fine fit & finish, the trigger is close to my CZ 452 Lux. This CZ 512 balances and handles well. My optic set up with a 3-9x40 scope on Warne 721M rings fits fine. First range trip today (for sight in @ 75 feet) and this CZ 512 was giving me dime size groups with 40 grain CCI Mini-Mags/100 rounds shot, no issues. (indoor range on a rest). Cleaning was routine for a semi-auto .22, just read the manual. I made a good choice in my purchase of this CZ 512 rifle from Bud's. Ordered on 2/27 and picked it up at my FFL on 3/2. Bought the CZ512 in Turkish walnut (the wood is gorgeous) and mounted a spare Vortex 4-12x44mm. It replaced a Ruger 10-22 50th Anniversary Design Winner that was less than accurate (2-3" moa at 50 yards) also constantly failing to feed or completely close the bolt. I won't go into all the fixes I tried to make the 10-22 work as designed. I like Ruger products but this 10-22 was a toad! The CZ 512 is an absolute winner that willingly accepts any 22LR round you feed it. I purposely mixed 6 different Brands and different types of ammo in a paper cup and loaded what ever came out of the cup into a ten round clip ten times. One hundred shots without a failure to feed or any other issues. I then loaded ten rounds of Norma Match 22LR (into a dirty gun) and fired two five shot groups that where each one ragged hole at 50 yards. The trigger has a little take up then breaks with a predictable 5-6LB pull. The gun is incredibly accurate for a semi-auto, shoots like a bolt gun. Like the gun so much I plan on ordering one for my grandson's birthday. I have to rate this gun as a ten out of ten!

I read reviews on CZ firearms for years. Their build quality, accuracy, reliability are always mentioned. They seldom have a poor review. This is my first CZ firearm. I love it. I waited to buy it only because i wanted a bolt action rifle too! I couldnt decide which to get first. I love the CZ512. I received it on wednesday at my FFL. I mounted a scope. Thursday, I fired 300 rounds of bulk 22 ammo thru it. It is well designed. No jams. Reliable and very accurate! Some negative comments are out there about the trigger. Mine was butter smooth. No creep, no stacking. Crisp break after a small amount of take up. Some people like a light trigger amd say this one is too heavy, mine is about 4.5 lbs. I love my new rifle. I would buy it again, and might! It comes in 22 mag also which would be fun. My wife may want one too!. This is a rifle that shoulders well and feels like something substantial. Buds has the best price. Its too convenient to not use buds for my purchases. This is my second purchase thru buds. If you are wanting a 22 auto, dont get a 10/22 unless you want to dump money into it.This rifle is so accurate right out of the box.

received my cz 512 22lr from buds about 10 days ago.very pleased with the fit ,finish & balance.i mounted a 3-9 power nikon scope & went to the range.believe or not the very first 5 shot group was 3/8 at 50 yards with fed auto match ammo witch does not shoot well in my cz 455.i might add it shot 1 inch at 50 yards with cci standard that does shoot well in my cz 455.i am well pleased this rifle & buds service!
